Mark Barnaba AM CitWA, Deputy Chair and Lead Independent Director, Fortescue Metals Group, is one of Australia’s most accomplished business leaders. An entrepreneur in his own right, he has had a distinguished executive and board career with senior leadership roles at our state’s most important and iconic institutions, including Fortescue, the West Coast Eagles, Western Power, our State Theatre Company, the University of Western Australia, and HBF. 

This year he stepped off the board of the Reserve Bank of Australia after serving two terms and having been present during a period of unprecedented economic turmoil – firstly driven by the Covid pandemic and then the ensuing rapid onset of global inflation.
