Liz Behjat
State Manager, WA, Aged and Community Care Providers
Prior to becoming the state manager of Western Australia at the Aged & Community Care Providers Association in July 2022, Elizabeth Behjat was the WA state manager of Leading Age Services Australia for 3 years. She was an advisor to the Minister for Indigenous Health Ken Wyatt, advisory board member and brand ambassador of the Director Institute Next Generation Directors, and a WA Liberal Party Member of the Legislative Council for North Metropolitan Region from 2008 to 2017. During her time in Parliament Liz was an Acting President and Chair of the Public Administration Committee and conducted a number of high-level enquiries as Chair of that Committee. Before entering Parliament Ms Behjatworked for several Federal MPs and Senators in the role of strategic campaign adviser and electorate officer both in WA and Canberra. During her years in politics she developed a passion for issues involving health and multiculturalism.
